Lego Mindstorms NXT
I bought this about 6 months ago and only worked (okay… played
with it twice. Just can’t make the time any more.
The kit consists of a CPU, 3 servos, a bunch of different sensors and a whole boat load of inter-connecting pieces. Program it to follow lines, wander the house, do the laundry (okay… maybe not the last one).
A good way to get your kid thinking while he’s playing and its an awesome way for us “adults” to kill a few hours on a snowy/rainy/wintery day.
It’s not in the original box anymore, and the previous components from an older generation lego engineering kit have found their way into the box.
Take all for $200. Located in Lancaster, PA (near costco).
The NXT kit sells for $260 and the engineering kit sold for $150 a whole lot of years ago.
